This is painting depicts "Anula" Sri Lankas 1st female Queen, I create scenarios for my paintings so it helps me to narrate the work and for this I imagined that this painting should be a moment that she was caught in a private moment , a moment lost in thought or thoughts. In terms of what she is thinking about I leave that to the audience to create their own ideas.
